the open era to win three straight Australian Open titles. It's his 4th overall victory in Melbourne. Djokovic secured his sixth Grand Slam title and became the first man in 46 years to win for three years running in Melbourne.Andy Murray lost his 4th final in Melbourne, two of those came against Djokovic. The match ended in 3 hours and 43 minutes.

After losing the first set, in which he had five break points to Murray's zero, Djokovic quickly turned things around in the second set by grabbing the tie-break after the Scot had been in charge.

During the 2nd part of the match Andy Murray battled blisters and required treatment several times during the match. It took two hours and 52 minutes of absorbing but rarely thrilling tennis for the first break of serve to arrive, and it went to Djokovic.

The final set was decided very early as Murray just couldn't handle the pain caused by blisters. Djokovic broke him very early in the set and wrapped things up fairly quickly in just 46 minutes.

After this win Djokovic has improved his head-to-head record against Murray to 11-7, he has also won their last three meetings as well as all three of those in Melbourne.

With six Grand Slam victories, he matches the likes of Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, Don Budge and Jack Crawford in the all-time list - and there could be plenty more to come.
