It is always interesting when it is announced that one of the hosts of the hit television show The View have decided to leave the show, so when it is confirmed that two of them are leaving the show, the interest in who will be their replacements increases even more. It was confirmed a while back that Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd are leaving The View and now talk has turned to their replacements.
Jenny McCarthy recently said a tearful farewell to viewers of The View and it now looks like she will be replaced on the show by the relative unknown October Gonzalez. It is fair to say that, while October's career is beginning to grow in its own right, she is still best known for being the wife of the NFL star Tony Gonzalez.
While there have been quite a few people to come and audition for a place on the new look panel for The View, a supposed show insider has claimed that October Gonzalez, "didn't audition. She was herself. She was the real deal." However, it seems that there were a few other candidates who were less than successful, after failing to impress with their auditions.
While political commentator Nicolle Wallace has also been brought on board to join the new look The View panel, S.E. Cupp was less than successful, after failing to impress current host Whoopi Goldberg. The insider added, "Whoopi told her that her approach was just like Elisabeth Hasselbeck, which did not sit well."
We will see October Gonzalez and Nicolle Wallace taking over from Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd in September.
