When a new comic book movie is approaching its big release date, we get very excited about anything new we get to see or hear about the upcoming project and with so many new comic book movies coming our way, we have a lot to be excited about. One of the upcoming comic book movies we are most looking forward to, is the eagerly anticipated X-Men: Apocalypse.
As well as looking forward to seeing the return of the familiar characters from the previous X-Men movies, there are also a number of new characters we are excited about seeing. One such character is Betsy Braddock aka Psylocke, who will be played by the beautiful and talented Olivia Munn, who looks set to WOW fans with her performance in the movie.
Olivia recently took to her official Instagram account to post a picture of herself in full Psylocke costume, looking every bit the part. Along with the snap, Munn added the caption, "She's a telekinetic telepath who chooses to kill with a sword because she wants to do it up close and intimate and killing from afar just seems too easy and no fun." Sounds like we are in for a treat.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set for its big release on May 19 in the UK, before then hitting the big screen in the US on May 27. It will be interesting to see where the franchise goes from there, with a number of the lead stars contracts coming to an end, with reports that some of them are not interested in renewing them.
