There has been a lot of talk about who will be portraying the legendary porn star Linda Lovelace for the upcoming movie based on her life, Lovelace. Olivia Wilde was originally lined up to play the star but had to pull out due to other work commitments. Then it was suggested that Kate Hudson would play the part but that also fell through.
Now it has been confirmed that, In Time actress Amanda Seyfried will be playing the lead role in the movie Lovelace. Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are set to co direct Lovelace based on the screenplay that has been penned by Merritt Johnson and Andy Bellin.
There have also been a few rumours regarding who will play Linda Lovelace’s husband, pornographer Chuck Traynor. It was first suggested that James Franco would be playing the part but now it seems that Peter Sarsgaard is favourite for the role. Lovelace is expected to start filming in 2012 with a 2013 release date pencilled in.
