Olivia Wilde is currently one of the busiest female stars in Hollywood, thanks to her superb performance in last year’s blockbuster TRON: Legacy. With her latest movie Cowboys & Aliens due to hit the big screen in the coming weeks, Olivia took time to talk a little about the movie and her co star Daniel Craig.
Olivia explained, “Daniel Craig taught me a lot. He taught me about stillness and silence, he does very little and it’s very impressive.” Wilde then added, “[Ella's] not just the love interest. She’s not simply sultry. She has a lot in common with Jake and she’s watching him very closely, because any clues he can give her as to where he’s been will help her on her journey. She’s been hiding in the town. She wants to fade into the shadows and only comes out when Jake arrives.”
Cowboys & Aliens is directed by Jon Favreau, who also helmed both Iron Man and Iron Man 2. The movie also stars Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell and Clancy Brown. Cowboys & Aliens is set to be released in the US on July 29 and will then hit UK cinema screens on August 19.
