For all of the impressive original ideas that we are given every year in Hollywood, there are still more and more sequels, prequels, reboots and remakes that continue being made, with more and more hitting the big screen every year. Next year we will see a new Jurassic Park movie which is titled Jurassic World and will star Chris Pratt and Omar Sy.
Meanwhile, Jurassic World will be directed by Colin Trevorrow who has been talking about what fans can expect to see from the upcoming coming movie, other than dinosaurs obviously. Colin has opened up about the relationship between the two characters that Omar Sy and Chris Pratt play, claiming that their friendship could carry into future Jurassic Park movies. So we guess neither of them die then?
Trevorrow was speaking to the folks over at Empire when he said of Omar's character, "He’s essentially Chris Pratt’s best friend. They work together and have some pretty cool action scenes together. I wanted to create a relationship there that could be memorable and potentially carry on to future films." It seems he is confident of Jurassic World being a success and leading into sequels then.
As well as starring Omar Sy and Chris Pratt, the Jurassic World cast also includes stars such as Judy Greer, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Nick Robinson, Katie McGrath and Lauren Lapkus. As well as directing the movie Colin Trevorrow also had a hand in writing the screenplay for Jurassic World, which will open on June 12, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
Are you looking forward to seeing Jurassic World?
