While British boyband One Direction are the biggest boyband on the face of the Earth right now, with millions and millions of fans all over the world, there are also those who are not exactly fans of the boys. There have been plenty of fellow celebrities to come out and criticise One Direction over the years and now there is a new One Direction critic.
Hollywood actor William H. Macy, who now appears in the US version of the hit television series Shameless, was recently a guest on Live with Kelly and Michael when he slammed the Story of My Life hitmakers. William said that, while he was actually a fan of their music and their vocals, he did feel that their live shows were very lacking.
Macy explained, "I've been in showbiz all my life, so, let me just say, those guys can sing. They are very talented. They couldn't put on a good show with a gun to their head. My daughter loved it. And so did about 17,000 other kids. They had on crappy jeans and a stupid T-shirt. And then they do a costume change in the middle of the show and they come out in different crappy jeans and a stupid T-shirt."
William H. Macy is not the first person to ever criticise One Direction and there is no doubt that he will not be the last either. Just recently, Hollywood superstar Mark Wahlberg joked that he wanted to punch Harry Styles in the face, before Harry then responded by offering Mark and his family a VIP trip to a One Direction gig.
