British boyband One Direction have become the biggest boyband on the face of the Earth in recent years, seeing off all challengers along the way and picking up even more fans as they go. Last year we saw One Direction have their biggest year to date, with new music, a world tour and even a One Direction movie hitting the big screen.
It was expected that the One Direction boys would take a little bit of a break this year, to give them a chance to recharge the batteries and reduce the risk of them burning out. However, it now seems that this couldn't be further from the truth, as the One Direction boys continue to work hard in 2014.
This year will see One Direction heading back out on an arena tour, as well as beginning work on their next album, the follow up to the hit record Midnight Memories. Singer Louis Tomlinson has spoken about working on the new One Direction album, admitting that he cannot wait to get started on it.
Tomlinson took to his official Twitter account to tell his followers, "Getting really excited to start writing for the next record :)", although he did not say a lot else. We cannot wait to hear some new music from One Direction and, if that tweet is anything to go by, we will not have to wait too much longer.
