It was suggested earlier this week that One Direction were set to get their very own television show on the kids TV network Nickelodeon. However, One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has now dismissed these rumours, claiming that there must have been a misunderstanding with them doing the Kids Choice Awards.

Tomlinson explained, "I think there must have been some misunderstanding. We are doing the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, but as far as a TV show goes we haven't sat down and had that conversation."
Louis later admitted that he and the rest of the One Direction boys were just looking to focus on their music careers right now and were not looking to do their own television show. He added, "To be honest, if it was up to me personally; I just want to focus on the music for now."

Meanwhile, Louis Tomlinson’s One Direction bandmate Niall Horan continued by thanking Nickelodeon for all of their support since they have been in the US. Niall said, "Nickelodeon have been amazing to us. They have helped us out so much while we've been here."
