One Direction has a new interview with Sunday Night in Australia, and the interview asks them a range of questions, from the hysteria surrounding them to their new album.

Talking about the hysteria, Liam mentions that it’s an ‘interesting’ thing to look at from a psychological viewpoint, about what makes the fans cry. They also talk about their new album being more ‘mature’, and then they joke about Liam just going through puberty, which may have something to do with it. The interviewer asks them how the boys dealt with that at the time, to which the boys mention “he [liam] was quite hormonal at the time. A lot of squeaking.”
They also call Australia ‘buzzing’, mentioning that they love it there, and they also add that they think Australian girls are ‘fit’, or the equivalent of hot.
When they’re asked if the friendship is manufactured, Louis gives a sound of exasperation as Liam says, “No, not at all.” Louis adds, “This is such a frustrating question because I don’t understand how you can see the way we are on camera and off camera and look at it as being contrived. Because it’s so evident that we do get on so well, and I don’t think we’re good enough actors to pull off that kind of friendship.”
The interviewer also mentions Harry asking out a radio host in Sydney on a date, and how the woman was reportedly hit with a barrage of hate mail. He replies that when it gets that extreme, that it’s just a minority of the fans. The others also add that they just can’t take it seriously, and take it for what it is, and have fun with it.
