One Direction's Niall Horan suffered a bout of food poisoning after a promotional tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The former X Factor finalist alerted fans to his illness via Twitter as he embarked on an 11,000-mile journey back to the UK. Horan wrote on his Twitter page: "Not feeling the best! sore all over! under the weather as they say!"
The Irish singer later added to his page on the micro-blogging website: "Food poisining not good! (sic)"
Horan appeared to be planning a good few days of rest following One Direction's recent promotional activity, telling his followers he'd be spending ample time in his bed, tweeting: "Yessss! Back in london! Sleep for the next week, don't wana see a sole."
He also joked with fellow X Factor contestant Alexandra Burke, adding: "ari alex..whats crackin? since im gona be soo tired n jetlagged when im home..ur gona havta help me out hahahaha. i joke... Yes burkey, we're back, I cannot wait t sleep."

The One Direction boys all featured on Companys Best Dressed British Men list, with the magazine saying that they loved their combat style, mixed with preppy suits. Other men who appeared on the list include David Beckham and Sherlock Holmes star Benedict Cumberbatch.
