It must have been fairly hard for the One Direction boys to accept, when they were told that they were not good enough to make it as solo artists, so would have to try to become a boyband. Now they are considered the biggest boyband on the planet, and arguably the biggest boyband ever, but it has not all been plain sailing for the lads.
We have already heard stories in the past about how, in the early days, there was often some tension between various members of One Direction. It has been over three years now, since One Direction rose to stardom on the hit television series The X Factor and, while they have had their falling outs over the years, it seems that they have bonded over time.
One Direction hunk Zayn Malik was talking to Tops of the Pops, when he explained, "We’re all really good mates and understand each other’s boundaries a lot more now. We understand if somebody in the band’s a bit tired, then we know not to annoy them, or if they’re upset you might have to speak to them."
Last year saw One Direction have the biggest year of the career to date, with new music, a world tour and even a One Direction movie. While it was expected that One Direction would take a bit of a break to recharge the batteries in 2014, the boys are still set for a busy year, as they prepare to head back out on tour again.
