One Direction have had a meteoric rise to global superstardom after finishing third on The X Factor back in 2010 and it appears that the rise is set to continue. One Direction have already experienced what it feels like to be top of the charts and they can pretty much guarantee another number one hit with their new single Little Things.
Little Things received its first official radio play today on the UK’s Radio One and it is a fantastic new ballad that is bound to have young girls around the world crying at its beauty. Even without knowing that Little Things is written by Ed Sheeran, you can still feel the Ed Sheeran vibe to it.
Ed penned the new One Direction track Little Things when he was just seventeen years old and he has previously claimed that the song has some of his favourite lyrics in it. Little Things is not the only track that Sheeran has written for One Direction, as he has also penned the song Over Again, which is also on One Direction’s second studio album Take Me Home.
