It has always appeared that there was a little friendly rivalry between British boybands One Direction and The Wanted but it appears that the friendly part is beginning to fade. One Direction singer Liam Payne has revealed that he does not like the fact that The Wanted had talked trash about One Direction behind their back.
Payne explained to Fabulous magazine, “The only thing that's bad for me about them is actually they were really nice to our faces, but when it came to talking to the media they were really trashy about us. We'd never done anything wrong, we were just running around doing our thing. We'd never purposely talk trash about anyone and we still haven't said anything about them now.”
Liam then went on to admit that he did not really see The Wanted as direct competition for One Direction, “I don't think there's any real competition about us. They sing dance music. They're real lads' lads whereas we're just mischievous, which I think is different. For me, you just look at twitter followers, which I think is a big player,” he added.
Liam Payne recently split from his girlfriend Danielle Peazer and while some of his fans were worried how the break up would affect him, his sister claimed that he was doing just fine. It has also recently been rumoured that Liam Payne and Leona Lewis are dating after they were seen together on a number of occasions.
