There is a wealth of young and talented actresses in Hollywood these days and, with so much competition for roles, it is no surprise that it is now harder than ever for an actress to land those big, career defining roles. As is often the case in Hollywood though, talent will ultimately shine through and those who want it bad enough will eventually succeed.
23-year-old American actress Christian Serratos looked set to have a very promising career, when she landed the role of Angela in the 2008 movie Twilight, going on to reprise the role for the rest of the franchise. This role certainly opened plenty of doors for Christian Serratos, who has gone on to work on a number of impressive projects since then.
Christian Serratos has since landed a guest role in the television series American Horror Story, as well as appearing in nine episodes of The Secret Life of an American Teenage, while she now plays Rosita Espinosa in The Walking Dead. Add to that the fact that Christian Serratos has been in the movies Pop Stars and 7500 and you can see just how successful she has been post Twilight.
At the age of just 23 Christian Serratos still has her whole career ahead of her and, while she has enjoyed relative success in her career to date, we feel that she has the talent and potential to go all the way to the top. Christian Serratos will appear alongside Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. in the movie Broken Doll, which opens on August 1, and we look forward to seeing where her career goes from here.
