Whenever an actor or actress works on a movie franchise for a very long time, you can pretty much guarantee that they are going to have a nice collection of memorabilia from the sets of those movies, with most stars these days taking it upon themselves to take a few props from the film, even if they have been told not to do so.
When it comes to the British actor Orlando Bloom, who played the role of Legolas both The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and The Hobbit movies, he made sure that there was something he could take to remember his elvish character. While Orlando insists that he did not manage to get to take any of those long blonde wigs, he did manage to get his hands on some elf ears.
Bloom was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Kimmel, when the actor told the host, "I haven't got the wig but I've got the ears preserved in Perspex and stuff and I've got that big rig (stilt costume used to make the Hobbits appear small)." Well at least he did manage to get his hands on something cool from the films.
While we have seen the last of Orlando Bloom in the role of Legolas, the actor does have a new movie coming our way, titled S.M.A.R.T. Chase, which has been directed by Charles Martin, based on the script that was developed by Kevin Bernhardt and Nick Schenk, with the movie still awaiting an official release date.
