Lord of the Rings actor Orlando Bloom has revealed how proud he is of his wife Miranda Kerr, for getting back into shape after giving birth to their son Flynn. Miranda got back to her pre pregnancy weight and back on the catwalk just a couple of weeks after giving birth to Flynn and Orlando admits that he’s very impressed with it.
Bloom explained, "I was very proud of her. To have just had a baby and then got back up on [the catwalk] to do that. I don't think it’s easy for those girls. They make it look easy, but you know, it's a lot of work to look good. [Models need] confidence to strut it out there. There's always the people that want to have a dig at you for this that and the other. That's the price you pay." Orlando then spoke of his preference to babysitting rather than Red Carpet events.
He added, "Where it is possible I try to make a point of doing it myself. He's a baby. I hate to not see him walking and crawling and doing all those things and I just like hanging out with him. It's the nature of our lives. Time sort of loses its perspective and where were you and what were you doing... I don't want that to be that case with Flynn. I really want to have that connection and feel that bond." Orlando Bloom can next be seen on the big screen in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which is released on December 14, 2012.
