There has been a lot of news about Orlando Bloom over the past few days, following the so called fight that he had with singer Justin Bieber, with almost everybody having a view on what happened. However, aside from the silly little squable that the two stars had, Orlando does still have a movie career to think of, with The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies opening later in the year.
Orlando Bloom played the role of Legolas in The Lord of the Rings movies, before then going on to reprise the role for The Hobbit films and the actor has been talking about the projects. While the first two Hobbit movies have been less than brilliant, Orlando says that The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will link perfectly into the first The Lord of the Rings film.
Bloom explained, "I feel weird. We were just talking today – Peter [Jackson]’s youngest has just turned 18. She was three when I arrived in New Zealand, it’s sad to say goodbye in many, many ways. I felt very lucky to be back to do it."
"I felt like I got a chance to create a backstory… I think this movie will tie up beautifully the characters’ stories into a nice little bow so that you’ll be able to then go straight in and watch ‘Lord of the Rings.’"
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will open on December 12 in the UK, before then going on to hit the big screen in the US on December 17. Check out the trailer below.
