It is that time of year again already people, when the official Oscar nominations are revealed and, quite frankly, there were real surprise when the list was announced today. Following earlier awards ceremonies, such as the Golden Globes and the BAFTA's, we already had a good idea of what to expect from the Academy Award nominations.
American Hustle has 10 nominations
 
As expected, there were three movies which really led the way in the Oscar nominations, with American Hustle and Gravity both receiving ten nominations each, while 12 Years a Slave managed to receive nine. It is expected that the awards will mostly be mixed between these three movies, with Jennifer Lawrence expected to bag her second Oscar.
