Now I know that production companies need to do all that they can to promote their and considering that fact that the budget for Oz the Great and Powerful was $200m, they will be pushing that film as hard as they can, but I just feel that they are going over the top with it.
Surely the idea of promoting a movie is to entice people to go out and pay the money to watch the film on the big screen. However, if I'm being totally honest, Oz the Great and Powerful is having the opposite effect on me. I'm sick of the sight of the movie and it hasn't even been released yet.
They have already released sooo many pictures and posters and production stills, as well as TV Spots, trailers and clips, but they are still not finished yet. A brand new clip for Oz the Great and Powerful has been released and I can't help feeling that I have seen enough in the promotional material to not bother going to watch it in the theatre.
Anyways, for those of you who are unfamiliar with Oz the Great and Powerful (where have you been hiding), the movie stars James Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz and Mila Kunis. The movie is out on March 8 but feel free to take a look at the new clip below and let me know if I'm the only person who feels this way. Arriba!!
