Kate Middleton’s second controversy over intrusive paparazzi images is set to begin, and it’s even from the same magazine that caused the uproar last time. Chi Magazine, which published nude photos of the Duchess during her vacation with Prince William, is once again selling intimate images of Kate Middleton. This time, they are images of the pregnant Kate in a bikini, taken during her Caribbean vacation with Prince William on the island of Mustique.
The pictures are set to appear in the February 13th issue, but you have to wonder if the Palace won’t once again pull a similar move and have the magazine remove the images.
They are apparently furious with Chi’s refusal to abide by their standards and have published a statement saying, “We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas. This is a clear breach of the couple’s right to privacy."
While it’s true that this is a ‘clear breach’ of privacy, there aren’t enough details available to know whether this will be a similar sort of uproar to what was caused during the last nude picture scandal. That time, the photographers were using long lens to capture the couple in a private residence, which appeared to be a clear breach of privacy laws. However, we don’t know how far the paparazzi were away this time, and they might have easily gotten the images if the couple were frolicking in a public place like a beach or a resort.
