In honor of Canadian actress Pascale Hutton's birthday on June 14th, we're taking a look at the actresses' prolific television career. Hutton first started acting in 2003, playing Nikki Roman in a TV movie titled 'Hollywood Wives: The New Generation'. Perhaps not the most high-profile launch pad, but Hutton turned that into a series of bit roles in films and television until she landed her big break in Fantastic Four in 2005. Although Fantastic Four has since become one of Hutton's smallest roles, it's still one of the roles that she's heavily searched for on the Internet.
Fantastic Four arguably landed her more roles in films and television, but it wasn't until a recurring role on Smallville in 2005 that she really started to bag higher-profile TV roles. She also landed a lead role in a TV pilot titled 'The Singles Table' in 2007, which unfortunately never went anywhere. She then major roles in Reaper, Intelligence, and Flash Point, cementing her place in strong science fiction-based television shows.
She also landed another major film role starring as Jackie in 'Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore'. That turned into more indie films roles and major television roles, and she cemented her science fiction cred with roles in Fringe, Sanctuary, and Continuum. However, it wasn't until 'Arctic Air' in 2012 that Pascale established herself as a household name on television, especially with viewers of the popular television show.
Unlike most of her other television shows, Arctic Air isn't high-concept nor is it science fiction, but it's a strong character-driven thriller/drama that serves to entertain the viewers on a weekly basis. On that count, it definitely succeeds, and we can also say that Hutton is definitely one of the best parts of the show.
Now, Hutton also has another major television show coming up titled 'When Calls The Heart', a drama airing on Hallmark Channel. Hutton plays a supporting role on that show, but her limited appearance might be due to her commitment to Arctic Air.
