For the fourth year in a row, actor Patrick Warburton and his wife, Cathy, will be hosting The Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament, a charity event to support a good cause. From February 28th through March 2nd, registered players will find themselves hitting the links alongside over thirty celebrities, as well as possibly attending a couple of nights of star-studded entertainment, all to raise money for St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
Groups of four golfers will be teamed up with a celebrity for the tournament on Saturday and Sunday, with a wide range of possible famous linksmen to end up with. Attending the event will be an eclectic mix of actors, singers, athletes and other recognizable personalities, including comedian David Spade, Fox News anchor Brett Baier and musician Alice Cooper.
In addition to the tournament, there will also be a musical show and a comedy night. While tickets are limited, and there are private functions earlier in the evenings, the main entertainment events are open to the public. On February 28th is the Jam Session where Rock & Roll Hall of Fame icons will be playing, and on March 1st is the Tournament Gala and Comedy Show, with Cheech and Chong scheduled as the headlining act.
Probably most famous for voicing the character of Joe Swanson on the animated Fox series, Family Guy, Patrick Warburton is a passionate supporter of St. Jude's mission. Those interested in backing his charity event by attending can go to http://patrickwarburtongolf.com to register.
