Ever since the moment that Marvel announced that they would be bringing us the movie Ant-Man there have been plenty of rumours about the film, including which stars would be cast in the movie. Once it was confirmed that Paul Rudd had landed the lead role in Ant-Man, talk soon turned to which other stars would then appear alongside him in the film.
It was recently suggested that Watchmen actor Patrick Wilson had landed a role in Ant-Man, although there were no real details about what role he would be playing in the movie. Now though, during a recent chat with Screen Rant, Patrick has teased his role in Ant-Man a little, although he was very vague about it.
When asked if he had tried on a costume for the role, Wilson replied "No," before then being asked if he was playing a hero or villain, to which he answered, "Can't tell you," although he did add that it was an "important role." Talk then moved on to whether he had learned anything for Ant-Man from his Watchmen role, "No, totally different world. I love Watchmen, I love Zack I love the process of that, I'm so happy with that," he replied.
Not exactly the biggest of revelations from Patrick Wilson but at least we now know that he will definitely have a role in Ant-Man. As well as Patrick Wilson and Paul Rudd being confirmed for roles in Ant-Man, it is also known that Michael Douglas has a role in the film, with Michael Pena, Clifton Collins Jr. and Evangeline Lilly rumoured for roles. Ant-Man will open on July 17, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
