British action star Jason Statham angered a lot of comic book movie fans earlier in the year, when he had a dig at the action scenes in the Marvel movies and the stunts that are performed in the films. Jason claimed that the action scenes are far too easy to shoot and that the stunt doubles do the majority of the work for the scenes.

It was way back in June when Statham said in an interview, that he "could take my grandma and put her in a cape, and then put her in a greenscreen, and then have stunt doubles come in and do all the action. Anybody can do it," which clearly did not sit well with a lot of the comic book movie fans.
However, while fans of the old way of shooting action scenes could see where Jason Statham was coming from, actor Paul Bettany decided to have a little dig back at his fellow Brit. Paul, who plays Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, suggested that an acting double would be needed for Statham, due to the difficult dialogue.

Bettany explained, "He's brilliant at what he does - I couldn't do it. I try to do as many of the stunts as I can, but there are times when it's too dangerous or it's too tricky. But if there's a really, really tricky scene with some very tricky dialogue, one might consider bringing in an acting double for Jason Statham."
It will be interesting to see how Jason Statham takes this. Will he see the funny side of it? Or will he take offence and come back with a response? We guess we will just have to wait and see.
