We have had some very exciting years for movie releases in the past few years but 2015 could quite possibly be one of the biggest and best years for quite some time. One of the most eagerly anticipated movies in 2015 would have to be Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will see the return of some familiar faces, as well adding some new characters to the roster.
Actor Paul Bettany has been voicing J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but he will now be seen in the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron in the role of The Vision. Paul has been talking about playing the character and how he is looking for to reprising the role in future Marvel projects.
Bettany explained, "That's the really great thing about the Marvel gig for me. I have never known if I have had a job six months out ever in my life. And now I know that they have plans and I can be even more judicious about the stuff that I do outside of that work. I can wait for the right thing and feel really attached to it."
As well as talking about playing the role of The Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe beyond Avengers: Age of Ultron, Paul Bettany also went on to talk about how he prepared himself for the role. Paul says that he had not read many Marvel comics in his life, so he had to do quite a bit of research before filming on the movie began.
Bettany added, "I did a lot of research — and my research was watching all of the films. I realised they are so interlinked and I wanted to understand the universe I was in. So I did and it was a really amazing, fun experience — especially going from my tiny, 20-day movie with no money and no trailers to this behemoth film was just great."
We cannot wait to see what Paul Bettany has to offer in the role of The Vision and how the character is used in the movie and we do not have too much longer to wait, as Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit the big screen on April 24 in the UK, before then opening in the US on May 1.
