To many of his fans outside of Australia it has been shocking to learn that he is actually an Australian comedian by trade who came to fame in Australia with his comedy show "The Paul Hogan Show" which ran from 1973 to 1984 prior to him becoming a global star with the smash hit-film Crocodile Dundee in 1986.

Anyone who thought that this talented comedian was going to 'lie low' after his divorce or because of his divorce obviously does not known how much he enjoys performing stand-up.
In his two-hour show he has been sharing stories of his time in entertainment to sold-out audiences throughout Australia who have loved every minute of his shows. One of his most memorable experiences was the discussion about a potential Beverly Hills Cop/Crocodile Dundee crossover movie but the script was so bad that there was no possibility of it going anywhere and it did not.
During interviews he has revealed that even with the success of Crocodile Dundee he never thought of himself as an actor as he was a comedy write who when the first Crocodile Dundee came out was 46 years old.
However, he is now once again bringing laughs to fans and his tour is going so well that he not only is motivated to do more stand-up but he has now been asked if he would consider bringing his current show to the UK.
