Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed how he expects 18 year old, French midfielder Paul Pogba to sign a new contract with Manchester United and stay at Old Trafford rather than leave in the summer. There has been a lot of talk about the future of Paul Pogba with him being linked to a number of clubs in both the UK and abroad. However, Sir Alex seems convinced that he can keep hold of the talented youngster.
Ferguson explained, "Pogba did very well. The boy has great talent and tremendous physique for an 18-year-old. You can't believe it. We are negotiating his contract at the moment. It is a bit complicated at the moment because he has changed his agent a couple of times. But the boy wants to stay, that is obvious. Hopefully we can get it done soon."
Paul Pogba made his full debut for Manchester United during their 2-0 win over Stoke last night and stood up to the test very well. Sir Alex Ferguson will be eager to keep hold of Paul Pogba, after losing another talented youngster in Ravel Morrison to West Ham during the January transfer window.
