There have been a lot of trends among celebrities over the years, with different stars choosing o try different things, which then goes on to influence others in a rather big way. In recent years, it seems that more and more stars are choosing to get tattoos, which has clearly influenced the public as there seem to be more tattoos than ever these days.
There are even a number of characters in television shows these days with tattoos and, while some stars just use their own tattoos, there are also those who use fake tattoos for the role. One such star, who uses a fake tattoo for their character, is actress Pauley Perrette, who plays the role of Abby Sciuto in the hit television series NCIS.
As those of you who are fans of the show will be well aware, Abby has a rather distinctive spider-web tattoo but, while some of you may have thought it was real, Pauley has confirmed that it is actually a fake, although she does have plenty of tattoos of her own to boast about.
Perrette was talking to Us Magazine, when she explained, "The spider-web tattoo on my character Abby's neck and the cross on her back are fake. But I have, like, 20 real tattoos."
Fans of Pauley Perrette can continue to see her in her familiar role of Abby Sciuto, along with that spider-web tattoo, on NCIS which is now in its 11th season and continues to air on Tuesday evenings on CBS.
