Music superstar Perrie Edwards almost missed out on her huge career, when she almost rejected the chance to be a member of the girlgroup Little Mix, who were put together on the hit television series The X Factor. However, Perrie made the right call and Little Mix have gone on to become the biggest girl group on the music scene today.
While Perrie Edwards has been enjoying huge success on the music scene, her love life has not exactly been so great, with her split from ex boyfriend Zayn Malik making headlines around the world. This breakup was obviously heartbreaking for Perrie but the Little Mix girls have used their relationship experiences to make great songs, and the singer has admitted that she is proud that she can help her fans who are going through similar heartbreak.
During a recent interview with the Daily Star newspaper, Perrie said, "I'm like an agony aunt. I feel amazing, I can't get enough of it. So many people approach me at nightclubs saying, 'You changed my life, I've never felt better'. Or, 'I got dumped two weeks ago and your song makes me feel great'. Guys too have told me they put the song on repeat to help them. I suppose that’s what makes us so relatable. Songs like FU – everyone’s had an FU moment. Everybody’s had a Nothing Else Matters moment too."
It is good to see that Perrie Edwards is able to use that heartbreak and turn it into a positive and we are glad to see that she is currently as happy as she has seemed in a long time.
