British beauty Perrie Edwards has been living her dream over the past few years, after winning the hit television series The X Factor with her girl band Little Mix, before going on to enjoy a successful career in the music industry. However, while there have been plenty of highs for Perrie and her Little Mix girls to enjoy, there have also been plenty of lows.
One of the biggest low points for Perrie Edwards was when her relationship with Zayn Malik came to an end, which led to a lot of the One Direction fans giving her a lot of abuse. Perrie has now opened up about receiving abuse online over the course of her music career, admitting that some of it has really got to her along the way.
Edwards told Cosmopolitan magazine, "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't talk! At the beginning, I used to search ‘Little Mix’ and ‘Perrie’ online. You can read a thousand lovely comments about yourself and then one bad one sticks in your head forever. It’s like being at school with a group of really nasty people."
She added, "Someone once wrote that I had ‘cankles,’ and now I have issues with my ankles. I think they are the biggest, chunkiest things in the world. At the end of the day, we are real people going through real things. When it’s your personal life, something you’re going through, I think people should f**k off and have respect."
Unfortunately Perrie, when you are a hugely successful star, your personal life no longer means what it once did. We are not saying it is right, but it is something that will never change and you will have to come to terms with. Sorry!
