While there have been a lot of movies made over the years, that have been adapted for the big screen from hit novels, it is fair to say that one of the biggest and best adaptations of a novel would have to be the hit HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones. With Game of Thrones season 4 just around the corner, the cast and crew have been talking about the show.
Actor Peter Dinklage plays the role of Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones and he has revealed how he could have found himself in the bad books of Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin. Peter has confessed that he has never read the Game of Thrones books and had to make this revelation in front of the talented writer.
Dinklage explained, "I was in a (question and answer panel) with him, sitting right next to him and I had to confess that in front of him for the first time. (It did) not (go) well. Not well at all. But he's a very sweet man. (He) is probably going to kill my character off because I've mentioned that... I started to read them and I got confused."
Fans can catch Peter Dinklage in his popular role of Tyrion Lannister, when the Game of Thrones season four premiere airs on HBO on Sunday, April 6 at 9pm ET/PT in the US. Meanwhile, the Game of Thrones season four premiere will air on Monday, April 7 at 9pm on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
