The hit HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones is one of the most talked about TV shows around at the moment. One of the shows stars Peter Dinklage put in some sensational performances during season 1, so much so that he bagged himself an Emmy. Now Peter has teased what fans can expect from his character Tyrion Lannister in season 2.
Tyrion becomes the King’s Hand and befriends the young squire Podrick Payne, played by Daniel Portman. Peter explained, "I have a squire... He's only poured my wine so far, but he's very good at pouring wine. I think that's a relationship that develops a bit as the show goes along, but we're in the early stages of our relationship now, me and my squire."
Game of Thrones season 2 is currently in the process of being filmed, with some of the scenes being shot in Belfast. A teaser trailer for the second season was released last night during the season premiere of Boardwalk Empire. Game of Thrones season 2 is set to premiere on HBO on April 15.
