It has been reported that former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan has been cast in the lead role for the movie Last Man Down. The Hollywood Reporter claim that Pierce has been signed on to lead the big screen adaptation of the Stuart Neville novel The Twelve, which was titled Ghosts of Belfast in the US.

Pierce Brosnan as James Bond
Last Man Out centres around former paramilitary killer Gerry Fegan, who will be played by Pierce Brosnan, as he is haunted by his victims. The movie will be set against the backdrop of a post-conflict Northern Ireland struggling with its past.
While Last Man Out will be looking to add more cast members to join Pierce Brosnan, they currently have a solid team looking to bring the movie to life. Last Man Out is directed by Terry Loan, based on a screenplay developed by Craig Ferguson and Ted Mulkerin, and will be produced by Beau St. Clair, Steve Clark-Hall, Jonathan Loughran and Rebecca Tucker.
