It seems that Piers Morgan and Madonna are not exactly the closest of celebrities, which has been emphasised by the fact that Piers Morgan has attacked Madonna for her performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday. While many have praised Madonna for the performance, Piers claims that he thought it was simply awful.
Morgan explained, "That Super Bowl performance, it was like watching your mad drunken aunt at Christmas, wasn't it? I keep reading all these celebrities tweeting like, 'Wasn't she awesome?' No she wasn't! She was gruesome! At least I've found that I have one common ground with Madonna: neither of us have sung live at the Super Bowl. She was lip syncing the whole damn thing. I was singing along with her and trust me, she wasn't singing."
Madonna’s performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday has been praised by a lot of big name stars, including How I Met Your Mother actor Neil Patrick Harris. However, M.I.A, who shared the stage with Madonna, was heavily criticised, after she foolishly decided to raise her middle finger during their performance of the song Give Me All Your Luvin’.
