Arrested Development is set to return for a brand new, fourth season later this year and, one of the stars of the show, Portia de Rossi has been talking about the comeback. Portia opened up about getting back together with all of the original cast members, saying that it felt like they had never been away.
De Rossi explained to Access Hollywood, “I think it was all of us together actually, in that scene where we’re all in the penthouse together, and it was overwhelming. It was so fantastic because everyone looked exactly the same, including the kids. I don’t know how that happened.”
She added, “But it wasn’t just the way that everyone looked. We made the same jokes, we had the same relationship to each other and it felt like one of those moments in time, where you kind of question whether time exists because it just felt like we were coming back to work a few months after we ended. It was very strange.”
As well as Portia de Rossi, Arrested Development also sees the return of Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Will Arnett and Alia Shawkatt and is set to air its follow up, to the 2006 third season, on Netflix in the Spring.
