Preity Zinta, actress and co-owner of IPL cricket team Kings XI Punjab is creating a ruckus in Bollywood with her allegations of molestation and intimidation that she has filed against her ex-boyfriend, industrialist Ness Wadia.
She has submitted 4 photos to the police to support her claim that Ness Wadia pulled her aggressively and in a rough manner by the hand after her reportedly verbally abused her.
Moreover, two foreigners have stepped forward and confirmed her claims of the actions of Ness Wadia. The Marine Drive police are calling other witnesses including several whom the Wadia representatives want them to talk to about what happened but the situation has caused much tension within Bollywood as actors are starting to take sides.
Bollywood actresses such as Deepika Padukone have applauded her for standing up for "what is correct" as the case deals with the the long known but rarely used topic of outraging the modesty of a woman.
However, several of the biggest names of Bollywood have stayed away from commenting on the issue and it has put the spotlight on the topic of unity within the Bollywood industry in the spotlight.
She is known for having a very strong backbone as she demonstrated in the 2003 Bharat Shah case when she was the only witness to not retract her statements against the Indian mafia and as such entertainment insiders are not surprised that she has taken this action against the industrialist.
Preity Zinta's legal case moves forward and one thing remains consistent about this attractive Bollywood actress and that is she is a woman who fears no one, not the Indiant mafia nor ex-boyfriends.
