Professor Green has revealed how he has given himself a good talking to and is now enjoying his life a lot more than he was this time last year. Professor Green admitted that he has become a bit outgoing and has been living a little bit more of the party lifestyle. However, he does admit that he will never go too far down the path to drugs in a bid to find happiness.
Professor Green explained, "I wasn't complaining about my success, I was trying to figure out why I wasn't happy. I tried talking to therapists but it didn't help me. I'm an idiot for that. When I had my 28th birthday, I thought, 'I have to stop being scared of being happy'. Otherwise I'm going to get past this and think, 'You idiot. You could have had so much more fun'.”
He added, "I'm not saying it's a positive to go from one extreme to the other, but between November and January I've only had three nights not drinking and I did the best shows I've ever done. Alcohol isn't the answer, it just played a part in me enjoying it. I have more than enough examples from past artists to know not to go too far down that path. I'm enjoying it, but it does scare the life out of me. You never know what's around the corner.”
Professor Green concluded, "Drugs are a horrible thing to get too wrapped up in. I never once sold crack or heroin. I don't know how people have the heart to sell to people at their most vulnerable." Professor Green has been nominated in the Best Male Solo Artist category for this year’s Brit Awards.
