Rapper Psy is known as entertainer who loves to party and whose concert parties often will go right to sunrise.
He was recently scheduled to perform his latest hit song "Hangover" that features Snoop Dogg in a street concert in Gangnam to commemorate the 2014 FIFA World Cup but the savvy rapper decided to change the song to his world famous "Gangnam Style" song because he wanted to show his support for the South Korean Football Team prior to them taking on Russia.
The party began at 6 am in the Gangnam district, usually an ending time for some of his parties but he did not disappoint the fans who like him were wearing red clothing. He wore his signature black tuxedo but he paired it with red pants and a red bow tie to honour the national team's color.
During the early morning party he sang eight songs including "Champion" which became a Korean hit during the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup game and helped make him a star in the Korean pop scene. He noted to the fans that if it were not for their support of this song he might never have continued on with his rap career and for that reason it is song that he loves even more than that of 'Gangnam Style'.
The Korean rapper is arguably still one of the hottest artists in the world as illustrated by his "Hangover" music video which has been viewed over 66 million times on YouTube and as such has fans eagerly awaiting his next songs that he has described as being "even hotter than the weather".
Psy's performance in the Gangnam district was his first but he hinted that it might not be his last, especially if Korea makes it to the round of 16.
