Quentin Tarantino signs up Kurt Russell for Django Unchained

It has been reported that Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino has signed up actor Kurt Russell to star in his latest project Django Unchained. It is not the first time these two have worked together after Quentin Tarantino directed Kurt Russell in Death Proof.

Django Unchained is currently signing up a whole host of Hollywood stars and is set to have an all star cast when it begins shooting. Jamie Foxx is set to play the titular character, while Leonardo DiCaprio is playing the bad guy and Samuel L. Jackson will star as a slave.

It is believed that Kurt Russell will play the henchman of Leonardo’s evil character. Also set to appear in the film is Laura Cayouette and Dennis Christopher, while Michael K Williams has claimed that Quentin Tarantino is creating a role for him. Django Unchained is due out on December 25, 2012.
