Hart of Dixie actress Rachel Bilson has slammed the new Sofia Coppola movie The Bling Ring, for glorifying the robberies which affected a number of people. Rachel was one of the victims of the robberies portrayed in The Bling Ring and she says that the movie was wrong to glorify such events.
Bilson told Cosmopolitan, “I thought it was weird to glorify something that was so upsetting for a lot of people. It's important to detach from material things, but the special, personal things I lost are hard to forget." Rachel is believed to have had over £200,000 worth of items stolen, which included her mother’s engagement ring.
Rachel went on to talk about her own wild days, adding, “I went through a little bit of a wild phase when I was a teenager and got into trouble. It was just enough to make me feel like I'd done everything and I didn't need to party as much as I got older. I survived a car crash when I was 14. It definitely impacted me and how I was living my life. It was a wake-up call. I had no choice but to wake up and get with the programme, but I think it set me in the right direction."
Rachel Bilson can be seen in her, now familiar role, as Zoe Hart in the hit The CW television series Hart of Dixie. Hart of Dixie recently finished its second season on The CW but you can catch Hart of Dixie season three, which will premiere on The CW in the Fall.
