Rachel Boston has some news to celebrate. This week, Lifetime announces the renewal of the actress's show, The Witches of East End, for a second season. The Witches of East End cast a spell on television this October. The show is based on the book series by Melissa de La Cruz. In the show, Rachel Boston plays Ingrid Beauchamp, a timid librarian who studies the history of the occult never knowing she is a witch with many past lives.
The first season has Ingrid finding love, and then losing it after casting an ill-advised spell. Season 1 is currently airing on Lifetime on Sundays at 10/9 C. The season wraps up on December 8th. Season 2 is scheduled for 2014. The show also stars Julia Ormond, Madchen Amick and Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
During her filming hiatus from The Witches of East End, Rachel Boston is filming the independent romantic comedy, Ring by Spring. She will also serve as an associate producer. Boston's character is an independent career woman who visits a psychic for a love reading.
When the psychic reads that she will be engaged by spring, she sets out to find her mate through her past lovers. Production for the movie starts on December 1 in Vancouver. There is no date for when The Witches of East End will start production again, but you can catch Rachel Boston in Ring of Spring which is slated for a spring 2014 release date.
