Raquel Welch is best known for her work in 'The Three Musketeers', but she was most recently seen alongside Chris Klein in the TV show 'Welcome to the Captain'. Although the show only lasted one season, Raquel clearly hasn't been hurting for jobs since she's just come out with a new book called, 'Raquel: Beyond the Cleavage', which is actually being distributed by Weinstein books.
In the book, Raquel explains how she balances being an actress and a full-time working mom while managing to stay healthy and maintain a youthful appearance.
In excerpts released from the book, Raquel explains how she starts off her day, revealing, "On a typical day, I wake up around 5 a.m. After a very light breakfast of egg whites and Bieler’s Broth, I go to my yoga class that begins at 6:30 and goes until 8. After yoga, I feel energized, and I have my whole day ahead of me. Yoga really has an enormous rejuvenating quality to it because it affects the endocrine system. And for a woman who’s aging, you need flexibility and you need to work your joints – and yoga does that. I do yoga six days a week.
You can read the rest of the excerpts here, but for someone who's more than 70 years old, Raquel Welch has managed to maintain her appearance very well.
