Red Hot Chili Peppers have unveiled the artwork for their forthcoming tenth studio album ‘I’m With You’. The album is set to be released on in the UK on August 29 and then one day later, on August 30 in the US. The lead single from the album, 'The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie' will be released on July 18.
Talking about the new album cover, the band explained, "Check out our new album cover – officially revealed! Damien Hirst did it for us and we're happy to get this out to ya!" The artwork is very simplistic, showing a fly sitting on a pill which has ‘I’m With You’ written on it.
‘I’m With You’ will be Red Hot Chili Peppers first album with new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, following the departure of former guitarist John Frusciante back in 2009. ‘I’m With You’ will feature 14 all new, original tracks from Red Hot Chili Peppers and is their first album release since the 2006 record ‘Stadium Arcadium’.
