Red Hot Chili Peppers have finally released their long awaited tenth studio album and since John Frusciante left the band, fans have been wondering if it will meet their high expectations. However, ‘I’m With You’ does appear to be lacking a little something.
Whether that something is the missing Frusciante can be debated all day long but his replacement, Josh Klinghoffer is a more than capable guitarist. Yet more than capable does not meet the high demands that Chili’s fans across the globe have come to expect.
‘I’m With You’ will obviously do well due to the size of the Red Hot Chili Peppers global fan base but it does appear that the majority of the fans will be disappointed. The album is a good record but after five years out of the game, you would expect more from such a great band. ‘I’m With You’ is out now, so give it a listen and let us know what you think.
