It has been reported that Reeva Steenkamp met up for a coffee with her ex boyfriend Warren Lahoud, two days before she was allegedly murdered by Oscar Pistorius. It is claimed that Reeva was with Warren, who she dated for five years, on two occasions when Oscar called her.
Warren said in a BBC documentary, "I said, ‘Is everything okay. I mean he’s phoned twice already.’ I asked her that question. She said, ‘There’s nothing wrong.' She contacted me and we met up for a quick coffee, and that was it. We did (exchange text messages), to meet up the previous week."
He added, "She seemed fine. We didn’t really discuss personal relationships, it was more a friendly thing. She didn’t seem unhappy. She told me that she wouldn’t be with anybody that she felt unhappy with, or she wouldn’t allow herself to be with somebody like that."
However, prosecutors on the case are claiming that Reeva Steenkamp and Oscar Pistorius were arguing, before Oscar then gunned Reeva down through the bathroom door of their luxury South African home. However, Oscar claims that this is untrue and that he shot Reeva, believing her to be an intruder in the house.
