Reese Witherspoon has given birth to her first child with husband Jim Toth, a son named Tennessee James Toth.
Baby Tennessee is the first child for Reese, who already has two children, Ava (12) and Deacon (9), with her first husband Ryan Phillippe. Resse and Ryan divorced in 2007.
A statement from the family reads: "Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today. Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled."
The Legally Blonde actress married talent agent Jim at her ranch in Ojai, California in March this year, the ranch in which Robert Pattinson is rumored to have stayed during the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal.
Last month, the Legally Blonde actress spent a couple of days in a Los Angeles medical facility after it was feared she was going into early labor. After being discharged, doctors told her to take it easy at home and get plenty of rest.
Reese recently admitted she was planning a career break to raise her baby. In June, she said: 'I'm feeling very round tonight. After I finish [filming] 'The Devil's Knot', I'm going to take a little time off - and go have a baby!'
