It's not every Dad that would encourage their daughter to get back together with an abusive ex, but that's exactly what Rihanna's appears to be doing.

The singers father, Ronald Fenty, has said that he 'loves' Chris Brown, and supports the rekindling of their relationship. Speaking to In Touch, he described Rihanna's ex as "super-talented" and said that there's "more to him than the whole world knows."
In the candid interview, which follows Chris's split from his girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, to pursue a relationship with Rihanna, Ronald said "I love Chris, man. He's got so much charisma. And he's always had so much respect for me. That's what I love about him. He's always shown me respect."
He also said that he believes Chris should be forgiven for assaulting Rihanna before the Grammies in 2009, saying: "I think everyone makes mistakes and they shouldn't be held to them forever. Everyone should be forgiven once. There's a lot more to Chris than the whole world knows."
Ronald is known to have abused Rihanna's mother, Monica, perhaps calling into question his judgement. Ronald also stated that Rihanna and Brown love each other and always have, adding: "She's happiest when she's around him, and as long as she's happy, I am happy and the whole world should be too."
