Australian singer Ricki-Lee Coulter has revealed how she believes that it is wrong for Chris Brown and Rihanna to get back together, considering how violent their past was together. Chris Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna three years ago and Ricki-Lee has admitted that she witness her mother being domestically abused but she had the strength to walk away.
Coulter took to her official Facebook page to say, "I watched one day as [my mum] was thrown around a room then lifted a foot off the ground by her neck. She grabbed me and walked out that door and never went back. I admire women who have the strength to walk out of situations like that."
She added, "I just don't think releasing a song like this together is a great message to Rihanna's fans... especially one so explicit [and] suggestive where he talks about her like an object. Domestic violence is not okay. It is not something that should be trivialised. It is not something that should be brushed under the carpet. It is not something that should be tolerated." Do you think Chris Brown and Rihanna were right to do a duet together given their violent past?
