While there is always a lot of hype surround International soccer tournaments, it is fair to say that the 2014 FIFA World Cup has been one of the most exciting International tournaments for some time, possibly the best since France 98. This World Cup has caught the imagination of the entire world, with a whole host of celebrities showing their support throughout the tournament.
One of the celebrities who seems to have been loving World Cup 2014 more than most, is singer Rihanna who has been regularly tweeting about the tournament. It feels like Rihanna has watched almost every match at this years World Cup and she has not been shy about showing what she wants from each match.
Along the way, we have seen Rihanna tweeting her support for the USA, with "Great job #USA I'm proud of you boys! You put your heart in it!!!" Meanwhile, she revealed her excitement for Brazil v Colombia, "This is the game I've been waiting for! I sincerely LOVE both of these teams!" before then revealing her heartbreak for James Rodriguez, "This is bittersweet!!!! I shed a tear for you Rodriguez!!! :'(".
We still have four more games left at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and we have no doubt that we will get plenty of tweets from Rihanna along the way. The next World Cup 2014 match that we will see is the first semi-final between Brazil and Germany, which will take place on Tuesday, July 8, followed by the second semi-final between Netherlands and Argentina on Wednesday, July 9. The third place play-off will then take place on Saturday, July 12, with the 2014 FIFA World Cup final on Sunday, July 13.
